When you first enter the PCC Campus, our goal is to make you feel welcomed. From the parking lot through the front door, we have people working to help you find your way into our worship service. From our parking attendants to our greeters to our coffee servers, our volunteers are here to help.
Entering the Building
When you enter our building, a Front-Door Greeter will be there to welcome you and answer any questions you may have. He or she may direct you to Guest Services to receive information about our church and various ministries. If you have children, the greeter can direct you to KidCity Guest Services where you may register your child and be directed to the classrooms. Coffee is available at the Coffee Bar. Feel free to have a cup and speak with others who will be standing around. Our Atrium Greeters try to find people who may be new to our church and make them feel welcome. But we are human and sometimes we may miss you. Please introduce yourself to someone and tell them you are "new." We guarantee you will be welcomed!
Worshipping at PCC
Saturday evenings meet at 5:30pm. We hope that this casual, come-as-you-are service will appeal to all generations. Programming is offered for children from birth through 4th grade.
On Sundays, we offer three services at 8:15am, 9:45am and 11:15am. We offer full programming during all three services for children birth through 4th grade. Class for 5th and 6th graders is offered during the 9:45am service, and class for the middle school students are offered during the 11:45am service. The high school meets on Sunday evenings.
All four of our services are the same, and offer a contemporary form of Worship. We know that people are busy and hope that everyone will be able to find a service time that works for them.
Communion at PCC
We serve Communion on the first weekend of every month. Pathway practices open Communion. If you are a follower of Jesus Christ, and feel comfortable in doing so, we invite you to participate. If you do not wish to participate in Communion, simply pass the plate to the person next to you. Do not feel uncomfortable if you don't wish to take Communion.
The People
Our congregation includes people from different generations and stages of life. Some are married, widowed, divorced, and never married. Some have children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Some have none. We have those who dress up on Sunday and others who wear jeans. We enjoy the variety of our congregation and hope you will as well.
If you had to describe Pathway in one word, it would be “normal”. We are normal people with normal issues but we believe that Jesus is the answer to getting through the issues of life. We have a passion to help people discover who Jesus really is and then together become just like Him….and we believe in doing that in God’s timing. We try to make Pathway a safe place to check out spiritual matters. At our weekend services we try to create an atmosphere where you can investigate who Jesus is and God’s plan for your life. If you are already a believer, we want you to be challenged in your own daily walk with God but also feel comfortable inviting a lost person to the service. We use great music, culturally relevant messages, friendly people and a creative atmosphere to accomplish that purpose.
But, you see, we were not brought together by any illusion of our perfection or righteousness. We were brought together by our recognition that we are sinners in need of the cleansing blood of Jesus. That’s the reason we can worship together, stick together, and, with God’s help, accomplish some things that make a difference. You won’t have to look very far to find our failures. But, bottom line, you will find people who love Jesus and love the Bible and try to serve God’s people together.
