This page offers some information on ways that you can serve at PCC through our Journey Groups ministry.

There are basically three volunteers roles:

1. Group Host

Group Hosts are people who have the gift of hospitality and love entertaining guests. Group Hosts provide the venue for their group to meet. there can be more than one host in each group, and sometimes the Group Facilitator and the Group Host are the same person.

2. Group Facilitator

Group Facilitators are individuals who can facilitate discussions, listen well and have the ability to coordinate group gatherings. This will often include organizing the meeting schedule and facilitating communication between group members, as well. Some groups may have more than on individual to assist with these functions. Group Facilitators will be trained and mentored by a Journey Guide. Additional resources will be available to further equip Group Facilitators.

3. Journey Guide

Journey Guides are individuals who have a passion to meet new people, see new groups get off to a good start, and provide ongoing leadership to multiple groups. These individuals will facilitate new groups through their first six weeks, help identify and train Group Facilitators and act as coaches and mentors for these new groups.

If one or more of these opportunities interest you, please take the time to download our "Volunteer Guide" brochure. This brochure includes specific information on the function, qualifications, and the time commitment for serving in this ministry. It also includes a step-by-step process for getting involved, as well as an application. You can also pick one of these up at the Guest Services table at any weekend service.
