an atmosphere of belonging. Therefore, we work hard as a family to
affirm one another's uniqueness and not attempt to force each other to
fit one mold.

Premise: In the end what really matters?
Week 6: Imperfect Families Know Who's in Charge

Week 7: Make Room for More
Premise: David and Metheboseth-Slow down, show compassion, this world is not our own
Week 8: Character Counts
Premise: The outside appearances mean nothing if the inside is out of sync.
STORM RIDERS
Don’t be consumed by the storms that
ARE coming.
Wk 1: On the horizon.
One Thing: There are impending storms on the horizon. We will all go through a storm, we simply have no idea when it
will hit or how big it will be.
How we prepare will impact how you ride out the storm.
Question: What are you bringing, God?
Wk 2: Out of Nowhere.
One Thing: Some storms come out of nowhere and when they come we easily
find ourselves gripped with fear, uncertainity, anxiety. God’s intent is not to destroy us but
to use the storms to shape us. The
reality is the out of the storm and into the storm God speaks. His power prevails.
Question: What are you doing, God?
One Thing: Storms will come. They come announced but many come unaware. The impact of the storm on my life will
be impacted by what I have come to believe about God in the time of peace.
Question: “Where are you, God?”
Wk 4: Riding Out the Storm.
One Thing: God
is all knowing. He knows not only
when we are in the storm, but He is fully aware of when the storm is
approaching, what the storm is doing, and where the storm is taking us. God has a plan and purpose for the
storm. In the storm God
is thinking about me.
Question: “What are you thinking, God?”
Week 2: God Just Wants to Restrict You
In the
beauty of the garden slithered a serpent determined to keep ones focus off the
goodness of God but on the one restriction God gave. It’s a lie that prevails yet today: God doesn’t want you free he wants to
restrict you.
Week 3: God’s Word Cannot Be Trusted
The lie the
enemy wants us to believe is that the Word of God cannot be trusted. He wants us to live our lives bound to
the chains of our sin instead of being released by the power of God’s Word by
taking God at His word.
Week 4 – Sin Carries No Consequence
Every action
both good and bad result in consequences.
You cannot get around it, and if you choose to sin, there will be
consequences. When we choose to
sin, there will be consequences.
The great Liar wants you to believe you can sin without suffering the
consequences. Don’t believe the
lie.
Week 5 – Jesus is Not Who He Says He
Is
The enemy
wants you to believe that Jesus is not who He says He is. Not true. It’s a lie. We
will take a look at the final meal Jesus shared with his friends showing us the
truth of who He is.
Good Friday – I Will Not Be Defeated
The greatest lie the enemy held onto
was that he would not be defeated.
Yet on the cross Jesus issued the deadly blow that defeated the enemy
and paid the penalty for our sins.
Join us on Good Friday as we reflect on those final words from our
conquering Savior… “It is Finished.”
Easter – God Cannot Change You
The
resurrection gives us the hope of a changed life. Through Christ I no longer have to be chained to my
past, and can now walk without condemnation.
